Five years after her film " Ten: The Curse Returns," supermodel Anh Thư has decided to return to the big screen with the role of Mrs. Quỳnh in "Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division." This announcement surprised many viewers because, besides her business ventures, she is currently busy as a coach on a reality TV show about modeling .
The return of Anh Thu
Sharing with us, Anh Thu didn't reveal much about the character, but said it was a big challenge for her. "I feel this role is extremely difficult, perhaps even the biggest challenge in my acting career. That also motivates me even more to invest and put my best effort into the character," Anh Thu shared.
The supermodel from the 80s generation shared that when she read the script, she was drawn to the character of Mrs. Quỳnh. According to Anh Thư, this is not the kind of person who is endearing and immediately evokes empathy from the audience. On the contrary, Mrs. Quỳnh has a strong personality, a big ego, and at times can even be irritating to others. "But the deeper I read, the more I realized there are many layers of psychology behind that person for me to explore," she said.
After reading through certain passages, Anh Thu found herself pondering how to portray the character appropriately. These emotions led the 8X model to realize that "it's been a long time since I've encountered a role that made me both want to act and worry about not being able to do it well enough."
