Hanoi [Vietnam], September 15: After many years of building a family together, Tuyet Thu admits that she and her husband still find it difficult to talk about work because their viewpoints don't align.
Tuyet Thu is a graduate of the Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) department.
After many years dedicated to the theater stage, Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu had an impressive role in the film " Len Huong" (Rising in Prosperity) directed by Khuong Ngoc and Hoang Tan Thong. Her natural and emotionally rich performance as Mrs. Lan brought tears to the audience's eyes. Sharing with MC Nguyen Khang on The Khang Show, the 70s-born artist revealed that this was her first film role.
Therefore, Tuyet Thu poured a lot of heart and soul into this character, and she also admitted that this was one of the most challenging roles she had ever played in her artistic career. For Tuyet Thu, acting alongside Hong Van and Hong Dao was a special experience because they were her idols from her time studying at the University of Theatre and Film. The actress recalled that during her student days, whenever she heard that veteran artists were coming to the school to rehearse, she would find a way to get to the gate just to see them.
In addition, Tuyet Thu said that she studied Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) because she idolized the voices of artists like Thanh Nga , My Chau, Dieu Hien, Ngoc Giau... However, after studying for a while, she felt that her voice wasn't outstanding enough, so she switched to spoken drama.
Speaking further about her family, Tuyet Thu confided that she had never intended to get married after several failed relationships. However, thanks to the connections of Viet Anh and the artists at the 5B Theater, the lead actress of " Le Huong" found her life partner.
"After we got married, I found out that every time I rehearsed, the actors in the theater would call him to come watch. Or after a performance, Viet Anh would also call him to come have a meal together or go on trips with the theater troupe during the summer. At that time, I talked to him and simply thought he was a friend of the actors and actresses in the troupe, but gradually we confided in each other more. Once, I slipped on the stairs and couldn't walk properly, so he had the opportunity to drive me home, and we slowly became closer," the actress born in 1971 shared.
